If you are already a Target Debit or Credit Card holder, then it wouldn’t hurt to look into joining Target’s Take Charge of Education program to help your children’s school out. You can also opt to help a school in your local area, where you attended or an extended family member’s school, the choice is up to you.

Target will donate 1% of your purchase made at Target stores, both in store and online to the school that you chose.

While activating my Target Debit Card online, I noticed that they were kind enough to let me know about this program.

I have decided to help my children’s school out. What I really like is the feature to be able to check my contribution and update the school. This allows you the access to view your balance and edit the school of your choice. You are also able to Search for an eligible K-12 school to see what Target has contributed.

Bottom line is:

It all adds up!

Talk about extra credit!

Just use your Credit or Debit REDcard, and Target will donate 1% of your Credit or Debit REDcard purchases made at Target and Target.com to help the eligible K-12 school of your choice.
